School Council

At Bittern PS, our School Council meets at least twice each term. The meetings occur on a Tuesday    evening starting at 6pm and finish by 7:30pm. Light ‘nibbles’ and refreshments are always on offer.

Our School Council team consist of a mixture of Bittern PS staff and parents. In 2019, we will be inviting our Student Voice  team to be represented at each meeting.

At Bittern PS, we believe that it is imperative for all members of our school community to have their say, assist in decision making for the whole school, suggest ideas, help review and develop policies and contribute to making our school a better place. One of the best ways for parents and community members to do this is by becoming a School Council Member.

Nominations take place at the beginning of each year. Please see either your child’s teacher or the Main Office for more information and nomination forms.
